Welcome to the National Healthcare Disparities Report (NHDR) Data Access Tool


You can use the categories on the left to access data for particular NHDR measures.

The upper box on the left mirrors the categories and subcategories used in the report and the Tables Appendix. For example:

The middle and lower boxes offer alternative ways of accessing the same data to users who are less familiar with the NHDR. Depending on data availability, each measure will have separate tables focusing on race, ethnicity, income and education. If the Tables Appendix does not contain a particular table or data category, this is indicated by a line through that selection, e.g. Education.

Currently not all estimates from the data tables can be selected with this search tool. For each table you can access the overall, or national, estimate and its standard error. In addition, the search tool will also display overall estimates for subgroups depending on table type (e.g. for separate income groups for the income tables).

The table number preceding the table title is a link to the full table, which is available for download.

The following abbreviations are used for data not included in the tables: DNA (data not available); DNC (data not collected); DSU (data do not meet the criteria for statistical reliability, data quality or confidentiality).
